Development Coaching Module - Online

The Development Module is an 8-hr workshop looking specifically at components around providing for a development rower. This course is aimed at Coaches who have had at least 2-3 years of coaching and are looking to progress to assistant Head coach/lead coach roles.

The module will cover three main topic areas:

• 1. The coaching process looking at athlete-centered coaching skills
• 2. Sports science focusing on strength and conditioning needs, training programs and periodisation
• 3. Technique and how athletes acquire skill

This module will be completed online with two facilitators. There will be 4x 2-hour sessions over the course of 4 weeks to complete the course. The sessions will be:

6:30 pm Wednesday 15th November

6:30 pm Wednesday 22nd November

6:30 pm Wednesday 29th November

6:30 pm Wednesday 6th December

The week before the course starts you will be sent a Zoom link for the sessions. Please make sure your details are correct when registering for the course.
