There’s a new voice coming through the South Island Rowing speaker system, one that has brought down the average age of the Twizel commentary team significantly. Seventeen-year-old William Tavendale, a former coxswain for St Andrew’s College, has found himself calling the shots from a different seat, the perfect place to share his passion and knowledge of the sport.
