Expressions of interest: High-Performance Beach Sprints Lead Rowing New Zealand
Rowing New Zealand (RNZ) is seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of High-Performance Beach Sprints Lead, a key leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering New Zealand’s high-performance beach sprint rowing programme toward LA 2028 Olympic success.
Reporting to the GM Performance, this role provides single-point leadership for the HP beach sprint programme, combining the ability to provide hands-on high-performance coaching, technical direction, and programme leadership within RNZ’s performance environment. It plays a critical role in setting standards, driving alignment, and guiding programme delivery as beach sprint rowing continues to evolve on the Olympic stage and within Rowing New Zealand’s high-performance plan
The role requires proven experience and a strong understanding of high-performance sport environments, with the ability to lead and manage a high-performance programme, operate effectively within multidisciplinary environments, and contribute to the development of athletes and programmes toward world-leading outcomes
Alignment with RNZ’s values of Care, Accountability, Trust Together, Continual Improvement, and Honour is essential.
