Day 7 was a day of finals for our U19s at the World Champs in Varese, Italy.
First up was the M2x competing in the D Final with crew Edward Botherway and Dylan Burton. The crew got second place.
Then it was fourth for Henry Kirk, Nicholas Bryan, Adam Wilson and Cameron Macgillivray in the M4- C Final.
Next up our M4x crew of Samuel Wilson, Connor Bacchus, Ashley-James Fitzgerald and Oliver Leach were third in their C Final.
Our W4x crew of Georgia Thomson, Annabelle Knowles, Emma Averill and Charlotte Lightfoot were came sixth in the B Final. The W2- crew of twins, Phoebe and Alice Wallis also placed sixth in the A Final.
In the last race of the World Champs for NZ our W8+ crew of Nicole Vance, Orla Fitzgerald, Grace Farrell, Jemma Burrowes, Emily Bowden, Siena Snow, Holly Lill, Georgie Bethell and Annabel Wynn-Williams came away with fifth place in their A Final.
That wraps up the U19/U23 World Champs congratulations to all our crews, for some this has been their international debut and we are extremely proud of how they have represented New Zealand.
