2028 and 2032 Olympic cohorts
- U19, U21 & U23 (athletes training prior to assembling at Lake Karapiro)
- Summer Squad 2024 athletes who did not make the Olympics/FOQR
- Athletes training for the Performance Hub/Summer Squad Selection Regatta – July 19th - 21st

Five regional hubs across key locations in New Zealand: Cambridge, Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin. Each hub will offer coaching, access to equipment, strength and conditioning programs, as well as regular check-ins with Rowing NZ coaches. Athletes will benefit from on-water training sessions, erg facilities, and athletes will receive tailored Individual Development Plans (IDPs).

Rowing NZ will collaborate with clubs and associations in each of the regions to provide financial support to cover the costs of rowing & coaching during the winter period. Athletes affiliated with a club in New Zealand will not be required to join the actual hub's club.

The schedule for each hub varies, depending on the athlete training periods ranging from March to September 2024.

Applications by clubs/associations for 2024/25 Summer Performance and Development Hubs will open in May 2024. Any questions please direct any questions to janey@rowingnz.kiwi
