2023/24 Re-Classification now Open
If a rower believes they should not be within their assigned grade they can apply for re-classification to Rowing NZ.
2023/24 Re-Classification by Application to Rowing NZ:
Rowing NZ and the Community Rowing Committee have established the 2023/24 Reclassification Committee. This committee is made up of three members: Tim Babbage (Elected Board Member), Rachel Williams (Domestic Rowing Community member) and Rachael Kennedy (Rowing NZ representative).
The 2023/24 Reclassification by Application process is now open.
There are three intakes for reclassification:
- 1 October 2023
- 1 November 2023
- 20 January 2024
The intake dates have been shifted back to capture rowers returning to the sport late in the domestic season and because of this the Reclassification Committee will not accept any late applications.
Rowing NZ and the Reclassification Committee have provided guidelines below in order to help you with your application. Please read these thoroughly before beginning the application process.
Applications for reclassification are to be submitted via this online form only. No application is to be submitted to Rowing NZ without prior endorsement at Local Association level. Any application received that does not have this endorsement will not be considered.
