Canterbury Rowing Club has a great squad of about 20 masters, including novice and experienced rowers. We train out of our shed at Kerrs Reach (Avonside, Christchurch) where we have a good variety of boats and ergs.

Our masters train in blocks, from February to December. The weekly training consists of two water sessions, one erg and one optional weights session per week. The squad attends several regattas throughout the South Island.

CRC is a club for the rowers, run by the rowers. We train hard, race hard and have an awesome time with the squad while we do it.

Our masters squad is growing, it’s an exciting time to be involved – let us know if you’re keen to get on board!

Great teamwork, commitment, leadership, organisation and communication skills are must-haves for this role.

This position will be paid. The level of payment will depend on experience and funding. We are happy to discuss this in more detail.
