Director of Rowing - Hawkes Bay Rowing Club

The 147-year-old Hawkes Bay Rowing club has a prestigious history of success at both domestic and international representative level.

The club is seeking to employ a dedicated and experienced Director of Rowing who can oversee the development of rowers and volunteer coaches.

This is a newly created role which is focused on continuing to build a strong professional culture and strengthen our future place in NZ rowing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rowing with either 5 years’ experience as a coach or high-performance athlete.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills would be essential as this role will have exposure across club management, athletes, coaches and supporters.

Experience in rowing programs from novice to high performance levels would be an advantage.

Reporting to the committee, your role will be to build and shape the new coaching managers position You will be supported by the committee and the clubs highly experienced pool of talent.
