Assistant Coach - St Patrick’s College

St Patrick’s College Wellington is looking for an Assistant Coach to join our squad of approximately 25 young men for the upcoming season 22/23.

We are looking to appoint one paid Assistant Coach to support our Head Coach with planning and supervising training sessions, attending training camps and regattas.

As part of the role, they will be called upon to coach novice, junior or senior crews.

This role is a great opportunity for an up-and-coming young coach, who wants to gain experience or an experienced coach who wants to pass on their knowledge to grow rowing in a developing programme.

Criteria:

• Passionate about rowing
• Enjoys working with young people
• Experience in coaching is preferable

St Patrick’s College Wellington is affiliated with Wellington Rowing Club which provides the base from which most of our training occurs.

Remuneration will reflect your experience and availability.

Food, travel, and accommodation for regattas and training camp will be covered.
