Athlete Development Lead – Rowing New Zealand

Rowing New Zealand (RNZ) is the national sport organisation (NSO) for all rowing in New Zealand. RNZ has a kaitiaki responsibility for the sport as well as supporting the delivery of quality experiences for all participants through the pathway at Community (Schools, Clubs, Universities), Development (pathways for athletes and coaches) and Performance (international campaigns including World Championships and Olympic Games) levels.

We are looking for passionate and skilled Athlete Development lead to join our team here at Lake Karāpiro.

The role will oversee the delivery our long term athlete development framework (LTADF) programmes for Rowing NZ. The successful candidate will further develop and enhance all areas of LTADF to ensure that Rowing NZ provides a fully integrated athlete pathway which supports and develops athletes into and through high performance.

The ideal candidate will have a real passion for athlete development and leading people. They will be part of the community and development team here at Rowing New Zealand.
